THE PEOPLE OF ZIMBABWE THANKS DEMOCRATIC ALLIANCE (DA) & BOTSWANA!
The people of Zimbabwe thanks DA & Botswana for standing up for the Zimbabwean people, when even despair had seized to exist. What could we have done if we were left with the criminal and unsymphathetic ZUMA & AU. You were able to lead Africa in a Democratic direction when others were prepared to sacrifice, the rights and future of my people on the alters of pompeous self regard. The people of Zimbabwe see no friend in ANC as they are potentially evil. It pains my heart, that Mandela fought so hard for democracy, yet others in his party do not see its significance! It is in the interest of the South African public to vote wisely in your next elections. Look at us, we are still fighting the same dictator 33 years on! DA, BOTSWANA you are friends, you gave democratic hope to the people of Zimbabwe when no one else in African cared. Thank you!

DA to table alternative election report in Parliament
The Democratic Alliance, South Africa’s official opposition, will later this week present an alternative report on the recent elections in Zimbabwe in Parliament.
Alexandra
Leisegang, the party’s Research and Communications Officer, confirmed the
development. “The DA will outline our reasons why we do not believe the
Zimbabwe elections can be considered free and fair,” Leisegang.
Reports
from the DA’s election observers in Zimbabwe, which formed part of the SADC
delegation, confirmed observations from civil society that the country’s
election was marred by serious irregularities, due to an incorrect voters'
roll. According to observers, people were also allowed to vote using
registration slips without actually being on the voters’ roll, casting doubt on
the integrity of the voting process.
In
some instances, in Mashonaland West, East and Central, voters were being frog marched
to voting for Zanu (PF). The party had previously raised concern at the
shambolic voters’ roll arguing the elections should not have taken place
without a transparent and updated roll. It argued all parties should have been
provided with access to the roll to avoid any manipulation. DA has criticised
President Jacob Zuma's assertions that the poll was credible.
