The MDC-T congratulates the people of Zimbabwe for voting resoundingly for the MDC-T on 31 July. We salute you for demonstrating unparalleled determination by coming out in your numbers to exercise your democratic right and voting for change and real transformation. However, once more your victory has been flagrantly and brutally thwarted. Your anger, bitterness and pain are palpable, but your resolve for a better Zimbabwe remain unbridled. For the last 13 years you have resisted this dictatorship and your resistance has often been met with brutal resistance from the State security. As a party, the MDC-T knows that even before a vote was cast, the outcome was inevitable because of a corrupt voters' roll, unauthentic ballot papers, a highly partisan electoral commission, a partisan State media and army, police; and the bully boy militia in the wings. We know that the brutal Zanu PF regime has once more unashamedly and mercilessly subverted the will of the people. Therefore,
