ZIMBABWE JULI 31st POLL, ODDS IN FAVOUR OF THE PM!!

Image
The odds in favour of Morgan Tsvangirai Having attended and observed the presidential election campaigns between the main political protagonists, President Robert Mugabe and Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai and taking into account the political environment and other electoral administrative factors, my interpretation of the July 31 poll is pointing towards a Tsvangirai victory. There are critical observations of the electoral process that have assisted my conclusion of a victory for Tsvangirai in this decisive election. Firstly, the political environment attendant to the holding of the July 31 election is similar if not much better than the March 29 2008 poll in which the MDC parties won the presidential and parliamentary elections respectively. Sadc and the African Union (AU)’s role in ensuring an environment in which citizens freely express their civil and political liberties, especially the absence of major cases of politically-motivated violence in the country, has helped Tsv

Mugabe a puppet of the military: Tsvangirai   MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai claimed Sunday that President Robert Mugabe was a puppet of the military, adding it was a travesty that a man nearly 90 years old and in office for three decades wanted another five years as the country’s leader. The premier was addressing thousands of supporters at Chitungwiza’s Chibuku Stadium ahead of Wednesday’s key elections which will replace his power sharing administration with Mugabe. Tsvangirai said the vote presented Zimbabweans with a chance to “express their choice between a brutal regime and a peaceful, caring and democratic government”. He claimed that Mugabe had refused to relinquish power despite “being defeated by the MDC in the 2002, 2005 and 2008 elections” because he was a puppet of the country’s powerful security services. A failure to manage its succession politics, Tsvangirai added, had resulted in Zanu PF being “stuck with an octogenarian whose capacity to run the affairs of th

ZIMBABWEANS! LETS CONTRONT MUGABE IN NUMBERS!!! These ZANU PF zealots are not courageous but dead afraid. They include some of Mugabe’s top ministers and service chiefs in the military and intelligence echelons. They have access to arms and other state resources, which make them a formidable, though not indefatigable force. If handled with adequate political masonry, they can prove to be a small political quantity whose fears and weaknesses can be exploited to assure victory. An example has been set today, people walked away from Mugabe`s Rally in the National Sport Stadium. Even Mugabe`s ruthless police and War Veterans, were powerless to stop the Masses! Someone said there mainly children at the Stadium, then I appeal to the PM, if children are capable of showing such acts of courage, they only need leadership. MDC-T has been denied the right to hold a Rally, CALL ON A MASS RALLY! The world is watching, what can he possibly do to you he has not already done! Lead the PEOPLE t
