Mnangagwa praise worships Mugabe

Defence Minister and Zanu (PF)’s Legal Affairs Secretary Emmerson Mnangagwa today praise worshipped President Robert Mugabe at the party’s rally held in the city. Mnangagwa who is also the party’s candidate for Chirumanzu-Zibagwe, had been given the opportunity to introduce Mugabe and invite him to deliver his address.

He equated Mugabe to the biblical Moses who delivered Israelites from bondage in Egypt to their promised land of Canaan.

“You pretend to see, but you do not really see. You hear, but you do not understand. Today I want to tell you that President Mugabe is divine. He is our Moses from the bible who salvaged Israelites from captivity in Egypt.

“Presdent Mugabe gave us farms. He gave us rights to exploit and be rich with minerals. In cold weather, in hunger and in any state of tribulation, we will stand by President Robert Mugabe,” Mnangagwa told thousands of the Zanu (PF) supporters at the rally held outside Gweru Teachers College in Mkoba surbub. The Defence minister, who is leading a faction in Zanu (PF) aiming at outdoing another one linked to VP Joice Mujuru in succeeding 89 year old Mugabe, chanted the party’s slogan 16 times, praising Mugabe and denigrating MDC-T leader PM Morgan Tsvangirai. Mnangagwa is considered the biggest beneficiary of Mugabe’s controversial policies like the land reform exercise and the indigenisation programme which has seen him amass eye-watering wealth. On the other hand, he commands the respect of Mugabe, having been his Chief Elections Agent in 2008 elections. During that period, he played a pivotal role in ensuring Mugabe retained power after losing to Tsvangirai in the first round of polls which resulted in a bloody run-off where MDC was forced to pull out.

The people of Zimbabwe see no friend in ANC as they are potentially evil. It pains my heart, that Mandela fought so hard for democracy, yet others in his party do not see its significance! It is in the interest of the South African public to vote wisely in your next elections. At number 172 is Deputy Intelligence Officer Farai Machekanyanga. Last year a ZANU PF official known as Chikanya, from Cherutombo suburb in Marondera, stunned the community after she began confessing how she and a gang, which included Machekanyanga, assassinated suspected MDC-T supporters and dumped their dead bodies in shallow graves and dams. Mugabe's CIO's from the Close Protection Unit (CPU) protect him from protestors. Chikanya, dressed in ZANU PF regalia, had gone to her party offices and told them she wanted to confess her crimes because she was experiencing hardships. But party officials paid no attention and she went straight to the town bus terminus. Once there she gathered a crowd and narrated names of her accomplices, including Machekanyanga, and how they killed MDC-T activists in the run up to the June 2008 election.
